As the car is packed for the trip to the camper lot this weekend, a guy has to check and are if he can post from the new blackberry. So here it is my friends!

If all goes well, weekend updates will flow. Pohono heads into the lot for eleven hours of solo tailgating before hobo arrives.

Kids Day - is turning your 3 year old into a Bills fan child abuse?

OK, Bills fans. Pohono is back, gonna make sure i don't keep y'all wondering why we aren't posting. As you see below, my boy Hobo posted his one blog post of the season, so it's up to me from here on out, and i won't disappoint!!!

Coming between now and the week one Monday Night opener against the Patsies, i don't have a heck of a lot to say about football. have ya seen the bills starting offense play this pre-season? yeah, thats right. not much to say. TO in B-lo will help, but lets see. so, what is there to talk about? tonight, it's Kids Day in review. up next, lets take a more in depth look at the high quality Chinese jerseys. and also in store, for those who have been waiting to see it... lets take a look at the Buffalo Pipe. thats right, bills fans, it's done and ready to smoke!

So, kids day. Pohono jumped on the bandwagon for kids day about 3 minutes after saying "no way i'm taking my 3 year old to The Ralph". i couldn't resist. So, friday evening, Pohono and Lil' Pohono jumped in the truck and headed north to NY. a late arrival and quick to bed, so we could get up for Game Day on saturday!

Hobo and Hobo Jr. hit the road Saturday morning, with the plan to meet at Duff's for lunch before a little tailgating. so, with some time to kill. Lil' Pohono and i headed to the lake for a little morning R&R. No fishing - save that for post-game.

Early afternoon, the Hobo-Phone connects. they are close. pissin and moanin about traffic and detours, but you could smell the anticipation in his voice thinking about Duff's. Off we go - heading to meet them.

Duff's - what can a guy say. I was in heaven. Wings. Labatts. Duff's fries. Wings. Wings. And, in case ya missed it, wings. The boys ate too, but it didn't have the word "wing" in it, so i forget what they had. after lunch, lil' pohono had a special private moment with the Duffs bar. I was proud beyond words. it's rare that a dad and son can have so much in common at such an early age...

Post Duff's - off to the Ralph for some tailgating and kids day events. Hobo and Pohono are proud to say that our boys are following in the tradition and becoming bills fans for life. Enjoy the pics!

One Day Until the First HOME Preseason Game

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are a mere 24 hours away from the first home preseason game of the 2009 season. Following the HOF game on Sunday, we still have a few kinks to work out on both sides of the ball....however, the optimism is still high for a GREAT season. Hobo predicts a 12-4 campaign. Pohono calls him crazy.

Tomorrow we are taking the young lads to the game with us, little Hobo and even littler Pohono. Kids day at the Ralph, always a good time. I still remember my first game at the Ralph like it was yesterday....Lady Hobo sitting through a torrential downpour all the while earning wife of the year honors for completing the trifecta of Buffalo’s finest....a Bills Game, a trip to Ted's Hot dogs, and a trip to Duff's Wings all within 24 hours.

Go Bills, Bears stink.

As the season draws near, the stories will begin, my friends. Pohono, Hobo and Suhoski are planning for a GREAT season of tailgating, and watching Trent, Lee, Marshawn and TO lead the boys to win after win after win...

Lets kick off the season with an homage to the worlds greatest tailgater, Pinto Ron!!!! Hobo and Pohono kicked off last season with some Lot One antics, and saw first hand how The Pinto handles a tailgate - if you haven't been there yet, put it on your radar screen for opening day!

I know y'all want a jersey update - I swear it's coming!!! I want to include pic's, and just haven't had time. A quick summary to get your imagination going....

Delivery Packaging: Can anybody say "who ordered the kilo of grade A chronic?"

Home jersey: yep, thats baby blue piping... close, but it just ain't right

Throwback: looks great, but why did they put that picture of a crapping bear on it?

Pitt: why did they use leftover sweatsocks for the sleeves?

Green Bay: hard to argue - just looks good...

and for the record, the jerseys are "Made to the exact spedifications of the NFL". yeah, i didn't misspell that by accident...

As one of our fellow followers of the Buffalo Bills Message Boards (The Stadium Wall) said...

"The biggest problem with Chinese jerseys is that 30 minutes after you get one, you're online ordering another one..."

So true, friends. So true.... Anybody want in? Call old man Hobo...

The moment of reckoning is coming

Do we post on the Peter's trade? Do we post on the Rhodes signing? Do we discuss that OBD is shopping Parrish or Kelsay? Hell no. What do we post on? The Jerseys are in the states, and a mere stones throw away from central PA. Yah, baby!!!

Oh, and for the record - i wanted more for the peters deal, but i'm happy with it. he wanted way to much cash, and philly was stupid to pay it.

Rhodes was a good signing, but they need to make it clear to the dude that he isn't our starter.

Parrish - fine if the deal is right, but don't give a guy with that talent up for a 5th. thats just stupid, and should cost Brandon his job if it happens.

Kelsay - make it happen, or restructure him for less money .

What are the boyz up to?

I'm sure you're asking! All two of you who read this (hey there Natedogg - how ya doin?). there will be more to come, but here's the snapshot of what Hobo and Pohono are up to...

Hobo: just slapped down the credit card to buy 4 "authentic" jerseys from some dude in China. A T.O. throwback and a home Edwards for Hobo, a T.O. throwback and a home Poz for Pohono... A full report will come when (or should we say if) the merchandise arrives... lets hope it comes in good, since we convinced some other friends (suckers?) to get a couple of steelers jerseys and a packers jersey on our order. poor Hobo - really wished that they carried a Coy Wire jersey, but it wasn't to be.

Pohono: for some reason, has committed to carving his own pipe. two of them actually. one a "traditional" pipe, the other a genuine hand-carved homage to the Bills "charging buffalo" logo. yes, friends, i will be smoking out of a buffalo's a$$... don't ask me how i will do it, but i'm committed. Hobo placed a bet - that ensures that i will make it happen. but y'all will line up in Lot One to buy them from me when you see them!

Suhoski - poor dude just keeps working. missed the opportunity to keep some young chinese laborors employed, but i'm sure he'll get in on the next round when he sees the quality of my hand-stitched "Poz-ruzney" jersey...
